For the ufo, I can't reproduce any crash... tested on x86 and x64
If you have a crashing file, send me. Is is easier to debug for me because it directly jump into the code and to the crashing instructions and with the debugger I can examine variables content.
The bug related to sparcle that I fixed, affected also trails and morphstream (I also fixed that) in fact most of particle modifiers when they in combination with exploder. I saw that your ufo file use woble as particle modifiers, so maybe it can be the affected too, but for now didn't experienced crash with it...
