Dissolve material

Dissolve material

Yop

A special use of the kill operator and customized pixel shader to simulate material dissolution or burning material.
Custom code is in the kill section. It can probably be improved, but it works as is.

PS : To render shadows correctly (to show the dissolve shadows too) I was forced to add a new parameters to the kill operator to be controlled with Vectors from ModMtrlEnv, so you need the last version to see disolved shadows too. Modification is on github.

Thank you for contribution ikam!

Very cool, master Code Guru! Glad you are back. =D>
Here is an alternative way to animate Kill operator. Use Const + Mul. Good for growing any sort of spots. :)

Here is my latest build that includes ikam's changes. Just replace the files.

Yes this can produce cool fx ;)
Thanks Skinnytorus for the latest build.

the better way to get the current version in dev is to compil it yourself, It avoid to share a release each time there is a fix or a new feature.

Follow compiling Instructions here : https://github.com/wzman/werkkzeug4CE
I'm open if you need more infos or help on how use git or visual studio.

Yes. VS2010 Express for C++ is free as well as other required libs. Just follow instructions from github. Even a dumb ass programmer like me can handle that. ;)

Not to worry. I got that error too. In fact the SDK is there. VS2010 will find it.

Hm, when I open wz4 project file in VS2010 and try to compile (press green play button) with dx9 final and win32 options on top of the screen. I have message about yasm did't found.

I setuped Win32 VS2010 .zip (for use with VS2010 on 32-bit Windows)

or I need this version for work?
Win32 .exe (for general use on 32-bit Windows)
