We need spirals! :)

We need spirals! :)

We need a customizable spline op to set up spiral paths or some particle modifier to ensure spiral particle movement.
Lissajou is almost there, but we can not change start and end spiral diameter...

Thanks. I will check your example this evening.
In fact I'm looking to create something like this: http://www.eso.org/public/archives/imag ... o9845d.jpg
and didn't find any solution...

This is very cool. =D> I wonder how you reached horizontal vortex effect?
I thought lissajou could do only vertical spirals. We discussed this issue here: viewtopic.php?f=41&t=1118

this is the sparckles with a big direction value and 0 gravity (horizontal propagation), the center is 5-6 particles lissajoux turning round.
conv, it need a delay time to produce the effect...

Ahhh. Delay is the key! Thanks. On the other hand, if we someday are able to import splines from inkscape, making spirals will be a piece of cake ;)

Yeah. All the three files are really cool. So... No spirals out of the box? ;)
