Adding Extrude Normal mode to mesh Multiply operator would make adding fur (like this: viewtopic.php?f=43&t=1148) and similar effects way easier. This function is used in wz3 multiply. I wonder why fr didn't add that functionality in wz4?...

Yep. That would be UBER COOL! As far as I remember you had difficulty getting coords of shards' vertices. Maybe it makes sense to use a 3rd party mesh fracture library?
