I've recently been trying to fake water. Although wz4 currently lacks some important features for making a water surface (fresnel term, IOR, etc.), it's not hopeless. Look at this one

Thanks. Have you ever given a thought to adding a fresnel term to wz4? IMHO its should not be impossible...

yes it is possible.
just need some time and motivation

maybe we should make demo pub to recruit coders, there is a lot of work and potential here
