I never expected wz4 to natively support such effect and was really surprised.
I always thought that such things were done by moving a pivot point of a torus and rotating it 'through' a static camera
or by attaching a camera directly to the spline used to 'sweep' the tunnel mesh.
So, fr guys combined these two methods and it works really nice! :)

there is many way to create this effect. You can also animate a deformable cylinder with sin and cos in x,y axes with a static camera at beginning of cylinder, and add an anim texture on z axe to simulate the moving.

there was a few years I had done this snippet : tunnelOpengl

Great examples. :)
I´ve done something similar back then with .wz1.
It´s pretty simple but with the right animation it should work well.
