Man... You are a demoscene hero! At last we'll have an out-of-the-box water surface! Yey! :D :D :D

It's not yet an out-of the box. For now It is a grid + customMaterial + a modified camera. But I will create an operator for that.
Another screenshot just for the fun. Now it works as want but I need to fix some few details with the camera and it will be ok :)

Very cool! Can the water be displaced without breaking the effect? For example, by BlowNoise?

Skinnytorus: yes it works with blownoise ;) It is the advantage of creating this effect with custommaterial, you can afffect it to any operator that support materials ;)

nikitos75: I surely update the github repo tonight with the modif, (it need a new feature in the camera operator) and it is ok. Just need to check if there is no regression with the camera before... ;)

Morehover I think it's time to release a new official version with all actual bugfixes and update. I will upload the binaries on the blog.

there is many settings : fresnel fact, refraction factor, water color, color blending factor, etc...
and you can as usual use various blend flag (add, sub, mul, addsmotth, solid,...)

Very good for water!)))) not so far to real 3d reflection!
Ikam, can I achieve ambient occlusion shader by existing mods of materials?
