hi, ikam.
Can you post the model here for us to experiment with? What 3d editor did you use to create it? Did you use any converters?
What export options were set?

Solved. :D

I directly used softimage, without converter. I found good export parameters and how to deal with softimage to anim mesh parts.

For information :

- xsi files supported are only version > 5.00 in text mode (xsi file version). I used 6.00.
- when exporting it's important to uncheck "filter key" box because with it wz4 cannot import the file (calculation error...)
- Imported xsi animation in wz4 are only based on chain bones.

here my xsi export param, wz4 example and model.

right, one of my ideas is, that i code a cinema 4d import, where can be used the animations from there. using MoGraph stuff, joints instead of bones, or xpresso script based animations. the cinema 4d hair animation is one simple way to do really great stuff... :) xsi is like maya, great software, but i prefer cinema 4d, with some plugin stuff.

I start learn xsi for wz (advanced modeling and animated model) it's a great tool. I never tried C4D, but it looks great too.

And for sure have other import file format and anim system for imported 3d model will be great :)

Yeah. Importing from C4d would be nice. C4d is one of the easiest to learn 3d editors! Very logical and simple.
