editing ops parameters

LMB+drag = change value
RMB+drag = fast change value

ctrl+LMB+drag = change all values on a same line
ctrl+RMB+drag = fast change values on a same line

double click = reset to default value
ctrl+double clik = reset all values on a same line
'home' key = reset to default value
ctrl+'home' key = reset all values on a same line to default values

ctrl+click = select text (for quick replace by entering new values directly (seems to be a bug, you need to click after text, on white space in editbox to perform that)

also use strg+LMB or RMB for resetting the same line
do not forget the preset button, sometimes it is very helpful to your workflow :)

In order to apply several materials to a mesh, first apply one base material to the entire mesh and then apply other materials to respective selections.
If you, say, logically divide a mesh in 2 selections and then try to apply 2 different materials to both of them, crash is imminent after you apply the second material :))

Retexturizer. UV Projection alternative?
Try this structure:
Sphere
Set Material (try any material with a distinctive tex pattern (Cell will do fine))
Retexturizer (extend this Op to the right and insert Cube Op above)
And the result? See for yourselves.
A sphere with Cube UV projection or something close to that ;)

Another tip here.
To get an anti-aliased 3d view go to Editor options and set Multisample Lavel to your liking :)
But, as you know, AA comes at the price of precious FPS ;)

you should not use this in processing... maybe use it at last step if demo/game is ready, but makes no sense while processing 3d scene. if i start the fps optimisation ops/tools there will be wrong results to work further with. i think aa should be used at the watching processes.

I would use AA mode for modelling - much less strain on the eyes...
