For now I don't see any way to use 2 standard modlight ops in one environment (8+8=16). Is it possible to use them both?
Edit: Maybe stack them vertically?
Edit2: Modlight + ModSinglelight don't work together. Not good...

1/ modlight need to be modified to work with 16 lights...
2/I see 2 options : add 8 new lights to modlight, add a parameter to manage 0..7 or 8..16 light range.
3/ it does bu you need to place modlight after single lights in the tree (right or bottom)

1) OK
2) The second option is better. 16 lights in one window = too cluttered view. 2 separate modlight operators in one environment would be best imho.
3) Only the vertical combo works (Single and then Modlight). ModLightSingle flickers then if I change its Pos parameter. See the file.

An ideal Single + Modlight combo would be to use Single light anywhere in stack above Modlight. For example, take a simple outdoor street at night scene: car lights are single lights and ambient street lights are driven by modlight.

Great! That's fantastic! A small buggy here: handles of single lights are not aligned with light sources.

Multiplication of a single light kills other lights. Not good.

ModLightSingle flickers then if I change its Pos parameter.

Still remains...

OK. Let it be like it is. For now it's good only for branching. See the file.

What about these bugs?

Thanks. See test_mul_light5.wz4 and test_mul_light6.wz4 I posted above. You must have missed them.

test_mul_light5.wz4 : handles not aligned because, trans is animated (wz handles preview don't support animation)
